and mobile applications in accordance with the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the requirements of accessibility under Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and Council.
Compliance Status with Requirements
The assessment of the compliance of the websites and mobile applications with the BFSG was conducted in the form of a self-test using the "Axe-core" tool from Playwright. Axe-core checks the pages according to WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Furthermore, we are in regular contact with our fan representative for inclusion and diversity through the AG Inclusion and utilize the feedback on our pages for continuous improvement.
Non-accessible Content and Current Implementation Status
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our websites and mobile applications. Some websites and areas currently do not fully meet the requirements. The contents listed below are not always accessible:
- Not all content and functions can be fully accessed or operated using keyboard navigation.
- Not all images and graphics are provided with alternative texts to be readable by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Background and text colors do not everywhere have an adequate contrast ratio.
- Older images sometimes lack ALT text.
We have initiated appropriate measures to remedy this in order to achieve a high level of accessibility.
