Sustainability
More sustainability in events.
Sustainability is of great importance at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. We place a high value on the sustainable organization of events and the sustainable handling of resources, raw materials, and products. Partnership with regional service providers and suppliers is a matter of course for us.
Our commitment
The focus of our sustainable engagement is:
We prefer products from organic farming and fair trade products and value the use of seasonal and environmentally friendly transported foods from the local environment.
Our waste management primarily focuses on reducing waste volumes. Therefore, we use ecologically advantageous packaging, such as reusable dishes or cutlery and glasses.
On home match days, we use reusable cups in the stadium, which are also available for purchase as collection cups. For the equipment of our events and our guests, we prioritize the reuse of decorative materials or equipment elements.
To protect the resource water, we nurture a responsible approach and take measures to reduce wastewater pollution. For example, we use biodegradable cleaning agents. Additionally, to reduce consumption, we have installed waterless urinals throughout the main stand.
Regarding mobility, we recommend, due to our convenient transport connections, arriving and departing via public transport and suggest event timings that allow participants a smooth journey to and from the event using public transport (train, public transport). We also recommend providing information on the use of environmentally friendly transportation options (explicit references to be included in the invitations: travel directions as well as information on train and public transport schedules).
